Welcome to my new programme of relaxation and wellbeing. 

 

As a qualified teacher of wellbeing with over twenty years of experience, I have written this programme to help those that are new to mindfulness to discover an ideal starting point. The programme has been designed to be perfect for beginners, but it is also suitable for those who are more familiar with the practice and simply seeking a new relaxation experience. The programme is entirely suitable for young people and adults alike, being an exercise that is both accessible and achievable for all, and inclusive of people of all ages, of any profession, disposition, religion or background. The sessions are available to be delivered at home, at school, at work, at community events or in any other prearranged venue. 

 

The programme consists of a series of guided mindfulness experiences that offer you a chance to relax and be guided by me through a series of meditations that will help to improve your sense of peace and wellbeing. Upon completion, you will possess a range of simple and effective techniques to be able to practice and benefit from every day. It has been demonstrated that a relaxed and mindful state can promote a multitude of observable and tangible benefits to a person.

Such improvements in a person's sense of wellbeing make the programme a welcome and valuable part of every day. The techniques that you learn are not taxing in any way – being simple and very easy to master - requiring only ten minutes in the morning and, ideally, ten minutes in the afternoon or evening. 

               Workshop availability

There are a range of delivery options available for the workshops and any individual or alternative requirements can often be accommodated.

At home

The stresses of home life can be the most pressing of all - especially when combined with balancing the demands of school and work. These sessions of relaxation offer some genuine and essential quiet time for those in need of peace - an opportunity to enjoy some tranquility and a sense of space in your mind. The sessions can be delivered in the comfort of your own home, or any other given venue, and can be enjoyed with a group of friends or on a one-to-one basis.

For schools & colleges 

The programme of mindfulness has been designed to support educational plans to introduce sessions of wellbeing in schools to benefit children and young people and their learning. The adoption of a programme of wellbeing also serves as a positive indicator of a school's awareness of the importance of wellbeing, for both its students and its staff.

The programme can be delivered to children, young people or adults of any age, on a small group or one-to-one basis, depending upon your requirements. It is also suggested that the wellbeing of teachers could be positively supported by the adoption of a professional programme of wellbeing.

In the workplace

Pressures and stresses are increasing in the workplace as demands upon employees continue to increase. The wellbeing of staff is increasingly placed at the forefront of the minds of some employers, as part of a duty care. There is a clear and direct correlation between the wellbeing of employees and the success of a company, and the adoption of a programme of relaxation and wellbeing can make for recognition of the hard work of staff and serve as reward at the end of a busy or stressful time.
